Last week the live shows kicked off so who’s safe and who’s going home.
Team Ricky is first up to get their results with Luke Kennedy being saved by Ricky we have Caterina Torres, Simon Meli and Miss Murphy on stage. The first person through in no particular order is Miss Murphy. Simon Meli is also through so Caterina becomes the first casualty of the live shows.
With Luke being saved last week he will start the performances this evening. He will be singing Freedom by Gorge Michael.
Joel is impressed and it’s the perfect example of the right coach he deserves all of it. Rickey says he doesn’t let fear over take him and he just wants people to have fun.

Steve Clisby preforms New York State of Mind by Billy Joel Ricky calls it impeccable Delta falls more in love with him every week. She loved every minute. Seal calls his delivery impeccable

Alex Gibson preforms Sweet Disposition – The Temper Trap. Delta the growth is spectacular Seal calls his performance was pitchy but he was brave so it doesn’t matter as he resonates

Kiyomi Vella sings Birdy’s young love Delta will vote again for her she owns it on stage and vocal was great Joel says she is ready and we would be robbed if she went into another field
Mitchel Anderson sings the What Becomes of the Broken Hearted – Jimmy Ruffin Ricky says he hit him in the face by reminding him that music is his religion Seal best performance given so far
Jackie Sianna sings smoke by Natalie Imbruglia Seal calls her amazing Delta says she did beautifully well
Simon Mell sings Tiny Dancer Joel thanks him because he will be getting lucky tonight. Ricky thanks Australia as it was important we as him as venerable and raw.
Harrison Craig closes the show with It Had Better Be Tonight – Michael Buble version
Delta calls it a great performance Seal says we are looking at the next person to represent Australia.
With that we close the show and the top 12 will become 8 next week and sing for a spot in the final performance show.
