Blind Auditions continued tonight with more incredible talent taking to the stage, including Darwin rapper Yung Milla, whose electrifying performance earned a four-chair turn.

  • Support worker and proud Aboriginal artist Yung Milla delivered one of the standout auditions of the season, earning a four-chair turn for his rap performance.
  • Sharing his journey growing up around adversity, Yung Milla spoke about being inspired by his mother and using music to create opportunities for others in his community.
  • After his Blind Audition, Yung Milla was joined on stage by his brother, J-MILLA who inspired his love of music.
  • The pair lit up the stage with an emotional performance packed with infectious energy and undeniable star power.
  • Melanie C described Yung Milla’s performance as “world class” and admitted she had never felt a room change the way it did during his audition.
  • Ronan called it “one of the best things I’ve ever seen on The Voice.”
  • Richard declared everyone would remember where they were when they first heard Yung Milla.

  • Born in Rwanda, Cherry moved to Australia as a child and shared how music helped him navigate loneliness and find connection after arriving as a refugee.
  • Kate Miller-Heidke praised his unique style and energy, while Melanie C said his joy was infectious.
  • Ronan described Cherry as “gold dust” and Richard called him a compelling performer before securing him for Team Richard.

  • Pilates instructor Renee dreams of becoming a pop star but feared she might never sing again after undergoing vocal cord surgery for nodules in 2024.
  • Richard described her as both a diva and a superstar,  Kate praised her theatrical qualities. Ronan declared he had found himself “a proper pop star.”

  • Songwriter Fox won over the Coaches with a charming and natural performance.
  • Richard praised his conversational style, as something that couldn’t be taught.

  • Jess stepped onto The Voice stage carrying a famous family legacy as the nephew of Australian music icon John Farnham.
  • Growing up side of stage watching his uncle perform, Jess revealed he hoped to carve out a path of his own while acknowledging he would always be connected to the Farnham name.
  • The Coaches were divided, with Richard admitting the resemblance to John Farnham’s voice was “uncanny” and questioning whether they were hearing Jess or someone mimicking the music legend.
