BINGE today released the first look trailer for the adrenaline-fuelled new documentary series, Deadliest Dinners Australia, which is set to premiere on the DAZN entertainment streaming service on September 9 with new episodes dropping weekly.
The eight-part series follows Australian-born extreme adventurer, award-winning restaurateur and chef Mario Kalpou as he journeys across some of Australia’s wildest and most unforgiving landscapes in search of extraordinary ingredients.
Following the international success of Man Eats Wild and United Plates, Mario returns home with the same unwavering philosophy: food should be earned, understood and respected.

In Deadliest Dinners Australia, Mario pushes his survival skills, experience and nerve to the ultimate test. From shark-filled waters and crocodile-infested rivers to remote cliff faces, tropical islands and the rugged Northern Territory outback, he ventures far beyond the supermarket in pursuit of Australia’s most remarkable ingredients. Each expedition demands local knowledge, meticulous preparation and the courage to face some of the country’s most dangerous environments.
Along the way, Mario teams up with guides, wilderness experts and Traditional Owners, whose knowledge helps him navigate unpredictable oceans, extreme heat, treacherous terrain and close encounters with Australia’s formidable wildlife.
Whether diving in great white shark territory, tracking a one-tonne buffalo, crossing crocodile-infested rivers or abseiling 70 metres down a sea cliff, Mario earns every ingredient before transforming it into an extraordinary meal cooked in the wild.
