The Footy Show (AFL): 2 May

Here’s what’s coming up on The Footy Show tonight.

From Press Release:

Join Garry Lyon, James Brayshaw and Sam Newman for Australia’s longest running AFL entertainment program, The Footy Show, as they deliver all the latest news and entertainment from the footy world.

Jack Riewoldt has been in the news all week for what’s been described as ‘petulant’ on-field behaviour. This week the Richmond superstar heads up the panel and hits back at his critics. Joining him is Footy Show debutant Will Minsonfrom the Western Bulldogs and AFL Hall of Famer Shane Crawford.

Adelaide cult figure

Taylor ‘Tex’ Walker suffered a devastating knee injury on the weekend. In a Footy Show exclusive we cross live to the goal kicking ace to hear the very latest on his recovery and plans for the rest of the season.

This week we award a baggy blue to a Carlton legend. From his dreaded early days, he’s been one of our favourite ever panellists and we re-live some of his most memorable moments.

After a weekend full of goal umpire controversies, Sam decides he needs a second opinion during Street Talk. The Foss pairs up with Crawf for a special double-header edition. The dynamic duo head to Swan St, Richmond and may have even run into a Tigers star.

Award-winning news breaker

Damian Barrett brings us all the latest footy stories and we discover if any of our current players have a future in journalism. Plus, we reveal how your local footy club might benefit from some charitable tradies, Crawf hosts Footy Legends and Sam delivers his Mailbag.

All that and plenty more on a jam-packed Footy Show, tonight at 8:30pm on Nine.
