It seems the Tribe swapping hadn’t finished just yet with last nights Survivor changing the game again.
Vavau returned from Tribal Council in shock after Phoebe and Kristie’s excellent blindside, which sent powerhouse Craig home. With the bond between the former Aganoa girls now stronger than ever, the pair became even more determined to take down the other tribe mates. But with the rest of Vavau now aware of Phoebe and Kristie’s game-playing ways, their days were numbered.
Saanapu has been an unstoppable force, defeating Vavau in every challenge since the merge. Entering tonight’s Reward Challenge with just five tribe mates, Vavau had their work cut out for them as they put their memory to the test for a Samoan feast.
But Saanapu’s winning streak continued, with the champions earning a scrumptious feast. While the leading tribe overindulged to the point of illness, Kristie used the beach’s local resources to create a delicious meal of snail risotto for Vavau.
Getting back to work, Kylie caused some commotion when she attempted to form an all-female alliance with the ladies of Saanapu. When her notion was shut down, she became further alienated, with a target on her back.
In tonight’s Immunity Challenge, the tribes faced off in a rainy battle of strength, speed and smarts. Still unrelenting, Saanapu took home immunity along with the special advantage of sending one member to observe Vavau’s Tribal Council.
Realising her head was on the chopping black after last night’s blindside, Phoebe began putting plans in motion to eliminate her only friend, Kristie. With Conner, Kate and Sue on board, Phoebe manipulated Kristie to believe Sue would be going home with Kristie entering Tribal Council unaware of her ally’s betrayal.
As Brooke watched on at Vavau’s Tribal Council, discussion quickly turned to Kristie’s role in last night’s blind side. Despite Kristie’s continued denial, Conner, Kate and Sue all made it clear they did not believe her and would be voting her out of the game.
But things are never what they seem on Australian Survivor and Jonathan had a massive surprise in store for Vavau and their rival observer, Brooke.
Revealing there would be no vote tonight, Jonathan said that not only was Brooke there to observe the Tribal Council, she would also choose one member of Vavau to join Saanapu permanently.
With Brooke selecting Sue to join the successful Saanapu tribe, Conner, Kate, Kristy and Phoebe returned to camp outnumbered but hopeful about what the future would hold for their tiny tribe.
