The Australia’s Got Talent Semi-Finals are here with an incredible 30 acts competing for a place in the Grand Final.
Judges Shane Jacobson, Lucy Durack, Nicole Scherzinger and Manu Feildel said yes to over 100 acts during auditions.
They have since faced the difficult task of narrowing this list down to their Top 30, which already included five Golden Buzzer recipients – blind singer/pianist Paul Kapeleris, seven-year-old comedian JJ Pantano, acro-dance troupe aKrobatiKa, schoolgirl singer Olina Loau and indigenous artist Mitch Tambo.
Now, the best of the best will compete for one of 10 places in the AGT 2019 Grand Final where ultimately, Australia will decide the winner of $100,000.
Joining host Ricki-Lee and the AGT judges at each of the Semi-Finals will be a celebrity guest judge who, in an Australian first, has the ability to award a Golden Buzzer to their favourite act, guaranteeing them a place in the Grand Final.
The AGT judges will then choose a second act from each Semi to go through to the Grand Final.
The guest judges are singer Jessica Mauboy; comedian/presenter Joel Creasey; actor/singer/presenter and star of the new production of musical Chicago, Natalie Bassingthwaighte; entertainer Todd McKenney; and Australia’s own 2018 America’s Got Talent finalist, Hans.
The Australia’s Got Talent Semi-Finals start tonight 7.30pm with guest judge Jessica Mauboy and continue Sunday 7.00pm on Channel Seven.
