Alec Baldwin to get roasted in September

The infamous Comedy Central Roast is rolling out yet another hilarious celebrity grilling of Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning iconic BaldwinComedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin will stream on Foxtel next month.

Filmed at the Saban Theatre in Los Angeles on September 7, Alec Baldwin is the latest celebrity to get the roast treatment, following in the steps of stars like Bruce Willis, President Donald Trump, Justin Bieber, Pamela Anderson, William Shatner, Rob Lowe, Charlie Sheen, David Hasselhoff and James Franco.

Led by Will & Grace star Sean Hayes as Roast Master, the sharp tongue torching of Baldwin will feature grillings by legendary actors and Hollywood heavyweights Robert De NiroBlake GriffinCaitlyn JennerJoel McHaleDebra MessingChris Redd, and Jeff Ross. Additional Roasters and talent to attend will be announced shortly.

An illustrious and multitalented film, television and stage star, Alec Baldwin is also a writer, producer and comedian.  Well known for his comedic portrayal of Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live and his award-winning role on the television series 30 Rock, he has also starred in films such as It’s Complicated with Meryl Streep, The Juror alongside Demi Moore, Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine and voiced the lead character in the animated movie The Boss Baby.

The Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin will be executive produced by Joel Gallen from Tenth Planet Productions, who also served as Executive Producer and Director of the Comedy Central Roasts of Bruce Willis,  Rob LoweJustin BieberJames FrancoCharlie Sheen, and Donald Trump, as well as the Emmy-nominated Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner. Rick Austin is also Executive Producer, and Jeff Ross is Co-Executive Producer. Christian McLaughlin is the Executive in Charge of Production and Jordan Ellner is the Talent Producer for Comedy Central.

 

Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin will stream on Foxtel and screen on The Comedy Channel on Monday September 16 at 7:00pm AEST.
