A Place to Call Home gets colouring-in book

Fans of A Place to Call Home are being given something awesome to do in the lead up to season four next month.

Foxtel, Seven Productions and News Life Media have presented a colouring-in book inspired by the hit TV series.

Step into the much-loved television drama with this gorgeous colouring-in book which invites you to put your own creative spin on more than 30 delightful and intricate scenes inspired by the series.

“It’s a delightful way to pass the time while waiting for the new season of A Place to Call Home to come to showcase on Foxtel,” said series star Marta Dusseldorp.

“In A Place to Call Home  we have created a world where life goes by more slowly. The textures and patterns of everyday life in 1954 rural Australia are a large part of what makes A Place to Call Home so special and they are beautifully illustrated in this book and just waiting for a splash of colour to bring them to life,” said Fiona Donovan Production Designer of A Place To Call Home series 3 & 4.

“It’s not every day that you get asked to create a colouring-in book inspired by a television series — it was a great project that illustrator Daniella Germain and I both loved working on. Spending time on the set to research the images was very inspiring and I think fans will appreciate the detail in Daniella’s drawings — even the books on the shelves are exactly as they are on the show,” says Victoria Carey, editor-in-chief of Country Style.

A Place to Call Home the colouring-in book is  available from leading newsagents and supermarkets for only $9.99 from Today
