It was meant to be revealed on air next week but for the second time this month Neighbours is making news before the show has had a chance to play out like the producers intended.
Australia introducing Daniel Robinson who will be played by 26 year old Australian actor Tim Philips
Phillips who has appeared in the Australian film Animal Kingdom and has had success overseas with roles in US series Once Upon A Time and The Secret Circle has returned to Australia for the role.
Daniel Robinson is of course the son of Neighbours golden couple Scott and Charlene Robinson Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan) who left the soap in 1993
Tim begins his role on screen next Tuesday night (April 29)
Neighbours airs 6:30 Weeknights on Eleven.
