Clearly i’m not the only one excited for new Wentworth.
Foxtel viewers made their pent up love of gritty prison drama Wentworth known this week following the surprise airing of a teaser trailer for the upcoming season 4 premiere. The trailer attracted more than 1 million views in just 24 hours making it one of Foxtel’s most-watched TV promos ever.
With an enormous fan-base, Wentworth’s dedicated viewers have been getting increasingly excited to catch up on the drama at Wentworth Correctional Centre following the fiery season three finale, and this week’s teaser started an even bigger fire under that enthusiasm.
Foxtel’s social media channels lit up following the airing of the teaser with fans voicing their anticipation:

Season 4 resumes four months after the events seen in the season 3 finale.
Wentworth Season 4 starts May 10, episodes will premiere Tuesdays at 8.30pm EST on Foxtel’s SoHo channel.
