Weakest Link February 1

Weakest Link February 1

Television’s most cutthroat quiz show returns for a special episode when Australia’s favourite celebrities go head-to-head on Weakest Link

Comedian and actress Magda Szubanski is back as host as our celebrities attempt to win a huge cash jackpot of up to $250,000 for their chosen charity.

The following celebrities will put their knowledge to the test:
Brooke Boney – Today show entertainment reporter
Todd Woodbridge – Tennis legend, Channel 9 commentator, Postcards presenter
Gyton Grantley – Logie winning actor (Underbelly, House Husbands, Informer 3838)
Samuel Johnson – Gold Logie winning actor (The Secret Life of Us, Molly, Crackerjack)
Lucy Durack – Actress (Wicked, Legally Blonde: The Musical, Doctor Doctor)
Dilruk Jayasinha – Comedian and actor (Utopia)
Toni Pearen – Singer and actress (E Street)
Alli Simpson – Singer, actress, radio presenter

Our celebrities must work together to bank the maximum amount of prizemoney available. They will take turns to answer general knowledge questions and build chains of correct answers. Consecutive correct answers greatly increase the value of the chain, while incorrect answers break the chain and force them to start over on the lowest rung, with the least amount of money.

At the end of each round, contestants vote to eliminate the one they consider to be the weakest link in the chain. The one who receives the highest number of votes then leaves the game as Magda delivers the killer line: “You are the Weakest Link. Goodbye!”

Tuesday, February 1, at 9.10pm on Channel 9
