The Project March 7 -11

This week The Project is in Adelaide with guests  Wil Anderson, Sam Simmons, Judith Lucy and  Turia Pitt at the Adelaide Oval.

Join Carrie, Waleed and Pete with our guest co-hosts and roving reporter Tommy Little as we showcase the best of what Adelaide has on offer, from the great race Clipsal 500 to the Adelaide Hills, The Garden of Unearthly Delights to Port Noarlunga. And no visit would be complete without a trip to the Barossa.

Alan Alda has earned international recognition as an actor, writer and director but it is his passion for science that brings him to Australia. We chat to the M*A*S*H star about his 20-plus year quest to help broaden the public’s understanding of science.

Fourteen years have passed since we met the Portokalos family and now they are back for more in the romantic comedy, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. We catch up with star and writer Nia Vardalos who is in the country ahead of the film’s 25 March release.

In town for the Adelaide Fringe we are joined by three of the funniest people going around. Wil Anderson drops by to tell us all about his new show Fire At Wil, Sam Simmons fills us in on his gig Not A People Person, and the one and only Judith Lucy is in town with her show Ask No Questions Of The Moth and is sure to have everyone laughing when she joins us live at the desk.

Athlete, motivational speaker and the ever-inspirational Turia Pitt is live at the desk. Turia will be completing the Kokoda Trek this May as part of a team to raise money for Interplast, a non-for-profit organisation working to repair bodies and rebuild lives in the Asia Pacific region through surgical treatment and training for local medical staff.

Finals week on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! begins this Sunday night, with one celebrity being sent home every night from TEN’s hit family entertainment show. We will catch up with all of them.

Special guest co-host Christopher Pyne joins us on Thursday while Ray Martin joins us on Friday. Plus Steve Price, Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald, Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann, Gorgi Coghlan and Meshel Laurie are with us across the week.

The Project airs 6.30pm Weeknights on Ten .
