Charlie Pickering Returns For The Project’s Fifth Birthday. Plus Lily Allen, Gary Mehigan, John Williamson and Nathan Phillips.this week On The Project.

Today is The Project’s fifth birthday and Charlie Pickering returns as our guest co-host, joining Carrie Bickmore and Peter Helliar.  Charlie, who will guest co-host until mid-August, said: “I tried really hard to get the Pickerings on Family Feud, and the network said if I did a bit of temp work they’d think about it. So survey says ‘Back at my old desk for a few weeks’.

“I’m really happy to be able to help celebrate The Project’s fifth birthday. I hope it goes better than my own fifth birthday, where my friend Angus cried and hid from the clown and I knocked my cake off the bench and the dog ate it. I don’t know how Pete feels about clowns, but I’m still hopeful,” he said.

The celebrations continue as we speak to Masterchef Australia judge, Gary Mehigan. With Finals Week underway, Gary will gives us his insights into the final contestants ahead of the MasterChef Australia Finale on Monday, July 28, 7.30pm on TEN.

We catch up with British music superstar Lily Allen in the studio before she performs her first show in Melbourne on herSheezus World tour.
