Here’s whats in store tomorrow night on The Living Room
FOOD: NEW ZEALAND HANGI and FISH STEW
New Zealand’s North Island is a magical place with breathtaking scenery, rich in traditional Maori culture. It’s here that Miguel meets Hangi master and chef Tom Loughlin. At his remote property near Taupo, Tom shows Miguel the secrets to the traditional Maori method of cooking a feast in the earth using volcanic stones heated by fire. Meats, wild game birds and vegetables are all cooked together in the ground. But Miguel wants to wow his host with a dish of his own. A quick trip to the river with Tom nets a long fin eel, the perfect ingredient for Miguel’s Spanish Fish Stew.
HOME: RENO RESCUE: MUSIC MAN CAVE
This week Barry meets Jed and Nat, new parents to six month-old Sebastian. Since he came along, there’s little room in the house for Jed’s first love, music. He loves to jam with his backyard band, but wife Nat has banished band practice from the house. Thankfully, there’s a garden shed in the yard with loads of potential. Can Baz help Jed and Nat turn their shed into a man cave that rocks?
