Next week Paramount + brings The Bite to Australia
The Bite, a six-episode satirical drama series from creators Robert and Michelle King (The Good Fight,TheGood Wife, Evil), follows the lives of two neighbours, Rachel (Audra McDonald, The Good Fight) and Lily (Taylor Schilling, Orange is the New Black), as they navigate life in lockdown in New York City, when an unexpected, deadly second wave of the coronavirus arrives.
Rachel works from home treating her many telemedicine clients, as well as dealing with a shaky, passionless marriage to her husband Dr. Zach (Steven Pasquale, The Comey Rule) who has an important job on the front line of the outbreak at the CDC in Washington D.C.
Meanwhile, Lily is upstairs trying to convince her Wall Street clientele that her very specific skillset is still just as valuable over video as it was in person.
How will these women face unprecedented times, while juggling their careers, loved ones and possibly, the end of the world?
