The stakes were high on as the final six bachelorettes grasped at their last chance to impress Nick Cummins ahead of home visits.
Arriving at a bowling alley, the final six bachelorettes were pleasantly surprised to see Nick dressed up in a retro 1950’s inspired outfit. The group stepped back in time for a speed dating challenge with a twist.
Dressed in their own 1950’s gear, the first bachelorette to score a strike won solo time with Nick in the back of a vintage Cadillac. Once the next strike was bowled, the lucky ladies time was up and the new bachelorette would have her chance to chat with Nick. With highly-coveted one-on-one time with Nick up for grabs, it did not take long for competition to grow fierce.
Once the bowling lanes had closed, the bachelorettes were asked to read aloud a letter they wrote to their future self in 2028.
An emotional Dasha was moved to tears when reading out her hopes for her son, Leon. Seeing her reduced to tears, Nick contemplated if keeping Dasha in the competition and away from Leon was the best choice
While most of the ladies penned heartfelt and emotional letters, Brittany’s humorous and light-hearted approach impressed Nick, and he invited her for a one-on-one date at a chocolate shop.
Over some decadent desserts, Nick and Brittany discussed their feelings, and Brittany took the opportunity to tell Nick he would blend into her family seamlessly.
Sophie found herself in a slippery situation when Nick invited her to an ice-skating rink for a special solo date. The pair spent the afternoon ice skating before turning their attentions to a game of ice hockey.
Later, Nick invited Sophie to the bachelor pad for a midnight swim. Sophie told Nick that introducing partners to her family is not something she does often or without a lot of thought, but it was something she wanted to do with Nick. Nick told Sophie that he was blown away by her fire and drive, before the duo got steamy in the hot tub.
At the rose ceremony, Sophie was visibly disappointed that she did not receive a rose her single date. Fearing she had not opened up enough to Nick, she questioned whether she would be safe from elimination.
Cass eagerly pulled Nick aside for some one on one time, where the pair played the ukulele and harmonised some original songs. Hoping Nick could put a face to the name, Dasha showed him some photos of her son, Leon.
With six bachelorettes and only four roses, Emily, 24, from New South Wales and Dasha, 32, from South Australia did not receive a rose and left the mansion.
