The Bachelor drops a game changing surprise

Oh Heck last night’s Bachelor  was great fun.

Last night  Blake Garvey sent home two New Love Interests before they even had a chance to spend a night in The Bachelor Mansion.

In a night full of tears and tantrums, fashion blogger Aley, 25, and social media co-ordinator Tahnee, 24, failed to connect with Blake, resulting in their quick exit.

To the surprise of Blake and the original Bachelorettes, six New Love Interests entered the house with the intention of joining the race to win the Bachelor’s heart. But only four remained by the end of the cocktail party and rose ceremony.

More drama ensued when an emotional Amber initially refused Blake’s offer of a rose. She walked away from Blake, deeply upset about the new arrivals. But after a flood of tears, Amber eventually returned with rose in hand, ready to give love with Blake another chance.

Quick to stop her walking away, Blake told Amber: “This journey was always going to take time. It wasn’t something that we were going to click our fingers with and we would be at the finish line. No one said it was going to be easy. I don’t want you to leave, I really don’t.”

Amber wasn’t the only one to serve up an icy reception to Blake and the new girls. Sam, Laurina and Kara were also very vocal about their concerns.

Before her elimination, New Love Interest Aley said: “There isn’t a word that I could possibly articulate to describe that vibe. It was like coming in to a pack of wolves that had been cooped up for way too long.”

After Aley and Tahnee’s immediate elimination, the four New Love Interests that remain in the mansion are executive assistant Mary, 27; lawyer Anastasia, 30; medical sales rep Rachel, 27; and dancer/actor Lauren, 27.

The Bachelor Australia.  Wednesday and Thursdays at 7.30pm. On Ten
