Ten release Wake In Fright trailer

Ten has released a trailer for it’s upcoming mini series Wake in Fright.

Wake In Fright is a contemporary interpretation of the classic 1961 psychological thriller written by Australian journalist and novelist, Kenneth Cook, and it looks spectacular.

This two-part television event follows a young school teacher who finds himself marooned in a small mining town in Australia’s outback. A dangerous series of events ensue.

Featuring Sean Keenan (GlitchPuberty Blues) as young school teacher John Grant, Wake In Fright comprises an all-star cast that includes David Wenham (Lion, Top Of The Lake, Lord Of The Rings) as Police Sergeant Jock Crawford, Alex Dimitriades (The Slap, Underbelly) as Evan “Doc” Tydonas, Caren Pistorius (Offspring) as Janette Hynes, Gary Sweet(House Husbands, Police Rescue) as Tim Hynes and Robyn Malcolm (Upper Middle Bogan, Rake) as Ursula Hynes.

Set in one of the most inhospitable places on earth – the Australian outback – there are few stories as original or compelling as Wake In Fright. Told through the eyes of John Grantthis contemporary, edge-of-your-seat mini-series is set to thrill and captivate viewers.
