This Australia Day, Ten will boast a night of unforgettable family entertainment, live and exclusive from the steps of the world-famous Sydney Opera House.
Hosted by Grant Denyer, Australia Day 2016 – Live at Sydney Opera House will see some of Australia’s most talented artists come together, to celebrate what it means to be Australian, through music, conversation and comedy.
Featuring performances by the magnificent Jessica Mauboy, the multi-award winning Kate Ceberano, singer-songwriter Glenn Shorrock, last year’s The X Factor winner Cyrus, 1990s superstars Bachelor Girl, dance-crew-turned-recording-artists Justice Crew, pop rock band Thirsty Merc and soprano Greta Bradman, this sell-out Australia Day concert is a celebration for the whole family to enjoy.
Australia’s queen of television, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, will join Grant as the official “party princess”, reporting live from the VIP party inside the Opera House.
To provide a healthy dose of the Aussie larrikin spirit, the hilarious Roy and HG will provide plenty of laughs.
On the celebration, Grant said: “I really am so excited to be involved in the Australia Day Concert this year! It’s a fantastic line-up of talent performing and to be doing it on the forecourt of the iconic Sydney Opera House is going to be magical!”
