Super Fun Night to be had on Tuesdays

Nine Fast Tracks Super Fun Night from next week. but will it last??

Having previewed the pilot over the weekend the show has a lot of charm and a great cast but the jokes are flat

Super Fun Night, the hilarious new comedy starring Aussie Rebel Wilson, follows three nerdy friends on their “funcomfortable” quest to have fun every Friday night, even if it kills them. Kimmie (Wilson), Helen-Alice (Liza Lapira) and Marika (Lauren Ash) have been best friends for 13 years, united by a love of warrior princesses, rock parties (with actual rocks) and fantasising about one day having a boyfriend.

Unlike most girls their age, they spend every Friday night “always together, always inside!” But after Kimmie is promoted at her law firm and meets handsome colleague Richard (Kevin Bishop) she persuades the others to face their fears and try something new, only to realise the three friends haven’t been out in a very, very long time.

Now, embracing the streets of the city that never sleeps, the ladies prepare to brave New York and have a super fun night, every Friday.

The series also features Aussie actress Kate Jenkins on (House Husbands, Offspring) and guest appearances from Matt Lucas (Little Britain, Come Fly With Me, Bridesmaids).

Super Fun Night comes from the comedic mind of Rebel Wilson herself, along with Conan O’Brien’s Conaco Productions and director/executive producerJohn Riggi (30 Rock,Will & Grace).

SUPER FUN NIGHT Premieres Tuesday, October 15 at 8.00pm on Channel Nine
