Stan sparked a new wave of cultural conversation today by announcing a landmark lineup of Australian and global content at the Nine 2027 Upfront. Cementing itself as Australia’s home of world-class entertainment and sport, Stan will deliver one of its biggest years of Originals, Exclusives, blockbuster international titles, and sport.
A new era of Australian content
Australia’s most beloved rural drama series, McLeod’s Daughters is set to return to our screens as a Stan Original. Produced by Werner Film Productions and built on the iconic world created by Posie Graeme-Evans, saddle up for the return of this Aussie classic.
Stan continues to expand its unscripted slate, with Australia’s favourite presenter and Gold Logie winner Hamish Blake joining Stan for the launch of Unskilled Adult. Proving it’s never too late to learn something new, Hamish and his unqualified mates learn to master a completely new skill from scratch, and attempt to get paid for it.
Australia’s biggest reality shows, Married At First Sight and The Block, will keep the drama and conversation going on Stan. MAFS: After the Dinner Party returns for a second season with hosts Jules Lund, Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne, while brand new series, The Block: The House Next Door, will give Blockheads plenty to talk about when fan-favourite all-stars tackle a sixth renovation over the fence.
Rounding out the slate of Australian content, Stan has also announced new Originals Slander starring Rachel Griffiths and Stuck Up & Stupid adapted from Angourie Rice and Kate Rice’s bestselling novel. Jacki Weaver joins the cast of Two Birds, and the Stan Original The F Ward will return for a second season. Stan will also premiere Love Island Australia: Unseen. Uncut.

Today, Stan announced it will be the exclusive home of the highly anticipated Baywatch reboot, one of television’s most enduring and globally recognised franchises, as well as spy thriller Honey, from the makers of Killing Eve, drama series The Siege, suspenseful thriller The Only Suspect, spy series starring Stephen Fry, The Interrogator, tender, eight-part love story You Are Here, the adrenaline-fuelled new series with Shemar Moore, S.W.A.T Exiles, the second season of The Walsh Sisters, and the third and final season of psychological thriller Doctor Foster. McLeod’s Daughters
Saddle up for the return of Australia’s most beloved rural drama series. Twenty-five years since Tess and Claire McLeod first graced Australian screens, McLeod’s Daughters is set to return. A lot has happened since Australia last visited Drovers Run, but what hasn’t changed is the landscape and the uplifting spirit of the strong, resilient women navigating life on the land alongside the challenges of finding love and connection in the modern world. Building on the iconic world created by Posie Graeme-Evans over 224 episodes, the Stan Original McLeod’s Daughters will be produced by Werner Film Productions.
Slander
Starring Rachel Griffiths and produced by Blackfella Films and created by Rachel Griffiths and Marieke Hardy, razor-sharp legal drama Slander dives into the high-stakes world of defamation law and will soon enter production in Melbourne. Alongside Griffiths, the ensemble cast features Jessica De Gouw, Max Beesley, Roxie Mohebbi, David Berry, Doris Younane and Lincoln Younes.
Stuck Up & Stupid
Based on the BookTok bestselling novel of the same name, Stuck Up & Stupid is a contemporary reimagining of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice from Goalpost Pictures and CBS Studios. Starring an incredible cast, including Angourie Rice, Brendon Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, Brooke Satchwell, Julia Morris, Luke Carroll, Raff Law and Hannah Gadsby.
Two Birds
Stan has released a first look at the upcoming Stan Original Two Birds, announcing Academy Award® nominated Australian icon Jacki Weaver has joined the cast. Set and filmed on location in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, Two Birds is a six-part crime mystery thriller co-produced with ITV.
The F Ward S2
Australia’s newest medical drama is returning for a second season. From Roadshow Rough Diamond, the first season stars Anna Friel, Ioane Sa’ula and Dan Wyllie, and recently sold to 100 international markets, making it the fastest-selling Australian drama. The F Ward follows a group of medical interns sent to the underfunded Pines Hospital in Sydney for one final chance to complete their medical training.

Unskilled Adult
Premiering 1 November and from the hilarious and creative mind of Gold Logie winner Hamish Blake, enter the world of Unskilled Adult, where it is never too late to learn something new – even if you have absolutely no idea what you’re doing. Each week, Hamish recruits two equally underqualified friends from the entertainment world to join his new business and tackle a challenge none of them are remotely prepared for. One of television’s most enduring and globally recognised franchises returns in January 2027, exclusively on Stan in Australia. The twelve-episode action-drama from Fremantle and Fox Entertainment reimagines Baywatch for a new generation, following an all-new team of lifeguards as they patrol the world’s most famous stretch of sand. Featuring the franchise’s iconic red swimsuits, the series will deliver high-stakes rescues, explosive drama and plenty of beachside heat. First hitting screens in 1989, Baywatch became the most-watched show in the world, airing in over 200 countries, and at its peak, reaching more than a billion viewers every week.
Honey
Six-part darkly comedic Cold War thriller rom-com from the makers of Killing Eve, Honey, will premiere exclusively on Stan. The tender and flirty, slick and dangerous series goes deep undercover in 1980s East Berlin to explore a shadowy world of counter-espionage and risky but irresistible relations. The series stars Ann Skelly, Nate Mann, Jannis Niewöhner and Rory Kinnear.
The Siege
Adapted from Ben Macintyre’s best-selling book by three-time Emmy and WGA award-winning Will Smith, and from BAFTA award-winning director Lewis Arnold, The Siege stars Danny Dyer, David Morrissey and Motaz Malhees. On 30th April 1980, six armed Arab Iranian separatists burst into the Iranian embassy in London, taking hostage the 26 people inside, demanding autonomy for their people. Over the next six days, the gunmen, the hostages and the police struggled with each other for control of the situation while the soldiers of the SAS mounted plans for a daring mission to break the siege that would be witnessed by the watching world.
You Are Here
Produced by Element Pictures (a Fremantle company) and based on David Nicholls’ critically acclaimed best-selling novel of the same name, You Are Here is an honest, witty and tender love story starring Claire Foy and Matthew Macfadyen. Nicholls (One Day) has written the eight-part adaptation, which will be directed by Lenny Abrahamson (Normal People). When a mutual friend throws them together, Marnie (Foy) and Michael (Macfadyen) unexpectedly find themselves setting off on an epic walk. Against the odds, they end up on the brink of a relationship that neither was looking for, but which might be exactly the one they both need.
Doctor Foster S3
Doctor Foster had the UK gripped when it aired in 2015 and 2017, with nearly 10 million people watching the finale of series two. Created and written by Mike Bartlett, season three will see Suranne Jones, Bertie Carvel and Tom Taylor reprise their roles as Gemma, Simon and Tom after almost a decade. Ten years ago, on discovering her husband was having an affair, Gemma enacted a masterful revenge. But the fallout was devastating when her son disappeared. The Only Suspect

Set in a leafy London suburb, the series follows Alex and Beth, a devoted couple whose picture-perfect life hides a devastating truth. Moving between the present day and mid-90s Camden, the story opens during the sweltering summer of 1995, when a young man buries a body during a violent storm. Decades later, the abandoned railway track where the body was hidden is being transformed into a nature trail. What is a triumph for the neighbourhood instead threatens catastrophe for Alex, who is the young man who buried the body. Having spent decades living under an assumed name, Alex now faces the unravelling of everything he has built.
The Interrogator
Drama series The Interrogator centers on former MI6 agent Conrad Henry (Stephen Fry) and his handpicked team of brilliant outsiders. When conventional methods have failed, Henry’s quirky charm, superior intellect, and mind-bending behavioral maneuvers make him the only man able to lockpick the minds of the world’s most dangerous criminals. Created by Stephen Fry, who also serves as writer alongside William Harper and Matt Pike.
S.W.A.T Exiles
An adrenaline-fueled new series, and a spin-off of the fan favourite. Raising the stakes of the legacy series, star and executive producer Shemar Moore reprises his role as LAPD S.W.A.T. The Walsh Sisters S2
Production is now underway on the second season of hit comedy drama The Walsh Sisters, inspired by the novels of international best-selling author Marian Keyes. Season two of The Walsh Sisters rejoins the chaotic, dysfunctional, but deeply loveable family of five sisters, their mother, and bemused father in their Dublin hometown. The returning cast is led by Caroline Mento, Danielle Galligan, Máiréad Tyers, Stefanie Preissner, Louisa Harland, Aidan Quinn and Carrie Crowley.
