Australia’s biggest and most popular triathlon, The Noosa Triathlon, headlines Seven’s new suite of triathlon and multi-sport events to be broadcast on Channel 7 and 7Mate, including all Asia Pacific Ironman and 70.3 events.
Starting with the iconic Noosa Triathlon, contested by some of Australia’s leading athletes at Noosa Heads in Queensland on Sunday November 3, Seven will telecast highlights of the Asia-Pacific’s premier triathlon events on Channel 7 and 7mate.
The two-hour highlights package of the Noosa Triathlon coverage will be shown on Sunday November 10 nationwide at 1.30pm – 3.30pm local time on 7mate.
Seven has already telecast highlights of the 2013 Hawaii Ironman at Kona, with the women’s event won by Australian star Mirinda Carfrae.
Geoff Meyer, CEO Ironman Asia Pacific, said: “We are delighted to have Seven as our broadcast partner for the next three years that will see increased coverage of our Ironman events and world renowned Noosa and Mooloolaba Triathlon Multi Sport Festivals.”
