Australian singing sensation Ben Lee has been unveiled as the third superstar performer on The Masked Singer Australia.
Hidden beneath a magnificent Professor costume, the singer/songwriter, actor and proud activist concocted one last explosive performance before he left.
Despite an eruptive rendition of Seal’s smash hit Kiss From A Rose, the Professor was no match for Pavlova’s passionate take on Cover Me In Sunshine by P!nk & Willow Sage Hart.
Guided by the clues, Dannii Minogue thought Professor was Australian comedian Jimmy Rees, Dave Hughes locked in Australian actor Simon Baker, Jackie O was convinced it was American musician Zac Hanson, and Urzila Carlson guessed The Killers lead vocalist, Brandon Flowers.
When the Professor finally peeled off his mask, there was a chain reaction of shock from our hosts and panelists.
Dave shouted: “My wife is going to lose her mind. She loves you!”
Dannii screamed: “How did nobody guess Ben? We were not even close!”
When questioned on why he wanted to join The Masked Singer Australia, Ben said: “I like to do anything that makes me feel weird. When I heard about this I thought “this is so weird”… I am into it! Once you become a parent you do a lot to entertain your kids.”
With performances to analyse and fresh clues up on the board, are you any closer to guessing who’s behind Dolly, Vampire, Pavlova and Mullet?
