VETERAN football commentator Sandy Roberts denies reports he has left Channel 7 after 34 years to work for rival television station Fox Footy.

Now, Sandy: newsroom staff have been tossing coins today for your car-parking space – is it available?” Mitchell asked.
Roberts responded: “Sorry to disappoint them, it’s not available.”
In a brief statement sent via a Seven spokeperson on Tuesday night, Roberts said that he did not have a deal with Fox Footy, “nor have they made me an offer”.
