Yet another tasty product was found by the Recipe to Riches team last night.
In this week’s Innovators category, Darcy faced tough competition from Kelly’s healthy crackers named Flackers. However, Darcy was confident early on that his on-trend protein-filled snack, that he devised while training as a diver, would win over the Experts. “I don’t come into competitions lightly,” said Darcy. “I’m here to win.”
Darcy enlisted the help of his diving colleague and good mate, Matthew Mitcham during the product launch of his Choc Bombs, and scored a perfect ten with the Experts confirming that his product will be available on the shelves of Woolworths stores.
“I’m over the moon and completely stoked,” said Darcy. “My Choc Bombs are the perfect snack to have in between main meals or something to give you a burst of energy.”
As a category winner, Darcy pockets $10,000 and now has the chance to win $100,000 and a business partnership with Woolworths in the Grand Final.
Darcy’s Choc Bombs are on sale nationally in 900 Woolworths stores from today for one week.
