NRL Grand Final Broadcast Details

Channel Nine has now locked in all it’s details for the NRL Grand Final this weekend  where the Roosters will take on the Sea Eagles.

he Nine Network will bring NRL fans a full day of action in the lead-up to the 2013 Grand Final between the Manly Sea Eagles and Sydney Roosters on Sunday, October 6 in the battle of the beaches.

At 10.30am AEDT Wide World of Sports, hosted by Ken Sutcliffe and Roz Kelly, will present a special NRL Grand Final preview show, with Emma Freedman reporting live from ANZ Stadium as game day hots up.

Fans can then roll straight into the season finale of The Sunday Footy Show at 11.30am AEDT with pre-game expert analysis from rugby league’s eighth Immortal, Andrew “Joey” Johns, Peter Sterling, Brad Fittler and Darren Lockyer. The show will also feature its inaugural Roast Awards.

Then at 6.30pm AEDT the voice of rugby league, Ray “Rabs” Warren, will lead Nine’s NRL commentary team for the 2013 Telstra Premiership Grand Final. Joining him are Nine’s sport reporters Yvonne Sampson and Cameron Williams as well as seven grand final winners: Peter Sterling, Phil Gould (coach), Brad Fittler, Andrew Johns, Darren Lockyer, Gorden Tallis and Wally Lewis.

Footy fans can also enhance their Grand Final viewing experience with Channel Nine’s state-of-the-art viewing companion app, Jump-in. Jump-in will showcase up-to-the-minute live match and player statistics and scores.

1.30pm – NSW Cup Grand Final (Cronulla Sharks vs Windsor Wolves) live from ANZ Stadium

3.30pm – Holden Cup Grand Final (Penrith Panthers vs New Zealand Warriors) live from ANZ Stadium

6.30pm – NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final: Manly Sea Eagles vs Sydney Roosters live from ANZ Stadium

And in the countdown to the big day don’t forget to join The NRL Footy Show for their Grand Final Special on Thursday, October 3, at 8.30pm AEST.
