Tonight Neighbours begins its final batch of episodes as we once again approach the last episode.
Elle (Elsie Jenson) decides to follow-up on a tip-off that Karl (Alan Fletcher) gave her following the big freeway announcement. As Karl has discovered, a man called Jonah Jackson is connected to the project, and he and Elle suspect that this could be the mysterious ‘Jonesy’ whom they’ve been trying to unmask. As Elle uses her journalist skills to do some surveillance, Felix (James Beaufort) joins in and the two are in for a huge shock.
Meanwhile Jane (Annie Jones) noticed that Nicolette (Hannah Monson) has been avoiding all baby talk following Krista’s (Majella Davis) decision to pull out of their co-parenting agreement. Things come to a head when they meet-up with Sam’s (Henrietta Graham) mum Rose (Lisa Aldenhoven) ahead of their European voyage for Mike’s wedding, and it’s clear that Nicolette is hiding something.
Elsewhere, Krista confronts Zac (Alex Kaan) after securing firm evidence that he was responsible for a string of recent irregularities in Lassiters’ books. Unwilling to admit that he was blackmailed into giving away benefits and freebies, Zac insists that it was a tactic to boost business. But will Krista let it slide?
Sarah Mayberry pens an instalment that sets the scene for the show’s very last dose of unmissable drama.
Neighbours airs Monday-Thursday at 4:00pm on 10, with episodes repeated at 6:30pm on 10Comedy.
