My Reno Rules First place prize money skyrockets to $1 million

Australia’s biggest TV giveaway just got even bigger!

In a shock move that left the four competing teams speechless, My Reno Rules program sponsor Adrian Portelli has increased the competition prize money from $100,000 to a staggering $1 million.

“I’m upping the ante…first place will now be competing for $1 million,” said Portelli, as the teams stood in silence, digesting the incredible news. “I want the best renos Australia has ever seen.”

With each team now holding a one-in-four chance of taking home the cash, the pressure has skyrocketed to a whole new level. To win, contestants must impress the My Reno Rules judges: style icon Neale Whitaker (The Block, Love It or List It), leading buyer’s agent Simon Cohen (Dream Home, Luxe Listings Sydney), and Julia Green, founder of Greenhouse Interiors – a destination for boutique homewares, fine art and interior styling.

Every decision counts. Every choice could make or break their chances of securing the cash.

But that’s not all. The second-place team will also walk away with $250,000.

And it’s not just the contestants who stand to win. In a must-watch television event, the live grand final will see two lucky Australian families receive a life-changing call, revealing they have each won a renovated, fully furnished, fully landscaped, state-of-the-art home.

My Reno Rules is a new format produced by Endemol Shine Australia (a Banijay Entertainment company) and distributed internationally by Banijay Rights for the Seven Network.
