It’s the moment most of the Neighbours fans have been waiting for Toadie (Ryan Moloney) and Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) shared a passionate kiss as the credits rolled on Thursday, and today we see the aftermath of the exes giving in to temptation.
When we return to the hood, it’s clear things escalated to Melanie’s bed and Toadie is frazzled, will he confess to his current wife Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou)? Toadie believes she’s with Paul (Stefan Dennis), though unbeknown to him, Terese is there for a perfect reason- Paul successfully tracked down the missing plaque honouring Josh and Doug Willis to the local tip. Could this be the final breaking point after months of tension for Terese and Toadie’s troubled marriage?
Krista (Majella Davis) is nervous but excited as she prepares to launch Lassiters’ Longest Lie-In. She reassures Paul that everything is in place, however, Krista faces an even bigger hurdle as Chelsea (Viva Bianca)- stuck in her meddling ways- tries to sabotage the event before it begins. Will Krista be able to pivot under pressure and save the event?
In the hands of Rene Zandveld, this episode is not to be missed- the love square takes another interesting development, while the event allows for some friendly competition between our favourite neighbours.
