Neighbours certainly knows how to deliver twists as Flashback Week kicks off with a bang.
In the first episode of the highly-anticipated flashback week, we heard from Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) as she took us back to the day before her wedding with Toadie (Ryan Moloney) two years ago, where she saw a mysterious figure from her past.
That figured turned out to be Krista Sinclair, whom Mel used to work as a housekeeper. Krista as in Reece’s (Mischa Barton) missing sister, and the reason she’s been sticking around Erinsborough.
After revealing that she wanted a fresh start, Krista, who is now going by the name Kelly, was gifted a stash of cash by Mel who also just happened to be caught with drugs on CCTV and is now a wanted figured after helping Krista get away.
Elsewhere, we also learn that Amy(Jacinta Stapleton) and Lance (Andrew Bibby) decided to finally make a go of it, and as a result Amy moved to Cairns as Lance has a new job there, thanks to some pushing from Philip (Ian Rawlings) and Ruth (Ailsa Piper). Also loved-up is Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) and Elly (Jodi Gordon), who were on the move to Sydney, and Bea (Bonnie Anderson) had found love in Broome.
But the biggest twist was saved for last with Reece and Byron (Xavier Molyneux) discovering that Krista knew Holly (Lucinda Armstrong Hall) and Eden (Costa D’Angelo).
It’s safe to say there’s more twists ahead as the week unfolds, and you’re not going to want to miss a single second.
Neighbours airs 4:00pm Monday-Thursday on 10, with the episode repeated at 6:30pm on 10Peach.
