One of Australia’s most popular actors Martin Sacks has joined the cast of Wonderland for it;s second season
Sacks who appeared as P.J. Hasham in the long-running police drama Blue Heelers. That role established him as one of the country’s most talented actors and earned him five consecutive TV Week Silver Logies for Most Popular Actor. Since then, Martin has featured in some of acclaimed television drama series such as Offspring, Underbelly, City Homicide, Sea Patrol, Rescue: Special Ops and Rake.
“I was extremely happy to be asked to join Wonderland. It has a real energy and vibrancy that I think audiences will really enjoy headed by a young and fantastic cast,” said Martin. Network Ten’s Head of Drama, Rick Maier, said: “It’s fantastic to have Martin on board, creating mayhem in his own charming way. We know he will be a great addition to this already very strong ensemble.”
The Wonderland cast consists of Michael Dorman, Brooke Satchwell, Tracy Mann, Peter Phelps, Jessica Toovey, Ben Mingay, Emma Lung and Glenn McMillan. Who will be joined by Les Hill later in the year.
Wonderland will return with the last nine episodes of season 1 soon on Ten.
