The newlyweds are fast-tracked into the next phase of the experiment moving in together and beginning life under one roof. But the transition is far from smooth for MEL and LUKE, whose homecoming is steeped in awkwardness. MEL’s romantic feelings have yet to materialise, while LUKE feels his efforts are being met with distance and rejection.
The following day, the Experts shake up the experiment by launching Revelations Week, an intense new phase designed to push the couples further than ever before. Through confronting new tasks, participants are forced to learn more about their partners than at any previous point this early in the experiment.
First up, BROOK and CHRIS take on the Audition Task, watching each other’s audition tapes separately. CHRIS’ blunt comments about his “icks,” including his views on body image, leave BROOK shocked and deeply unsettled. Doubts creep in as CHRIS scrambles to explain himself, while BROOK steps away to process what she’s just learned.
Elsewhere, BEC and DANNY face Rapid Revelations, a raw, fast-paced task that demands brutal honesty. Once again, DANNY admits his lack of strong sexual chemistry with BEC, leaving her hurt, but the emotional fallout pushes him to recommit to giving the experiment a genuine chance.
The Photo Ranking Task returns, testing the couples’ emotional resilience. While STELLA and FILIP, and ALISSA and DAVID, both rank their partners first, the task proves damaging for MEL and LUKE. LUKE places MEL at number one, but when MEL ranks LUKE second behind GRAYSON, his confidence takes a significant hit.
For BEC and DANNY, the task delivers an unexpected turning point. Though nervous, BEC ranks DANNY first and in a bold display of loyalty, DANNY ranks BEC number one before discarding the remaining photos altogether. The gesture reassures BEC and brings the couple closer.
Further revelations continue to land. MEL openly details her past behaviour following a breakup, leaving LUKE stunned. Meanwhile, RACHEL and STEVEN discover shared struggles with body image while completing the Audition Task, bonding through empathy and mutual support.
As Revelations Week draws to a close, LUKE reflects on an emotionally bruising few days, from the tense move-in, to MEL’s disclosures, to being the only groom not ranked first. Feeling overwhelmed, he chooses to spend the night away from the apartment.
Down the hall, GIA and SCOTT face their own reckoning. GIA learns from SCOTT’S audition that he once favoured single life and was hesitant about dating someone with children. Hurt and shaken, GIA confronts SCOTT, sparking a tense exchange that threatens the stability of their relationship.
With secrets exposed and emotions raw, Revelations Week leaves the couples reeling — and for some, questioning whether their marriage can survive what’s been revealed.
