Madam Secretary and The Good Wife return

Ten is returning two of it’s big US dramas to Wednesday nights from next week.

Madam Secretary will return for it’s second season which kicked off in the US on Monday. Academy Award winner and Madam Secretary Executive Producer Morgan Freeman directed the episode and guest stars as Chief Justice Frawley.

The Show Must Go On

Elizabeth must take the oath of office when the President’s plane disappears over the Pacific Ocean. Also, Henry is asked to recruit one of his Russian students to work for the U.S. government by Jane Fellows (Jill Hennessy), his new Defence Intelligence Agency  handler.

8:30pm Wednesday October 14 on Ten

The Good Wife will return for it’s 7th season at 9:30pm on the same night . There is some speculation that this could be the final season.

After the emotional departure of character favourite Kalinda Sharma (Archie Panjabi) at the end of season six, the highly-anticipated season seven premiere boasts new cast members, including Cush Jumbo and Emmy Award winner Margo Martindale in a recurring role

Bond

Season seven picks up with Alicia attempting to revive her struggling law career after a short-lived career in politics failed. She begins representing criminals in bond court and meets attorney Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo), who challenges Alicia for her clients.

As Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) prepares to run for the presidency, he calls in national strategist Ruth Eastman (Margo Martindale) to help shape his presidential campaign. But this creates an interesting dynamic with Eli Gold (Alan Cumming). As Peter’s long-standing advsier, how will Eli cope with the newest campaigner?
