Team selection of Veggie Superheroes
Pea in a Pod – Henry & Cade – AUS
Captain Corn – David & G – AUS
Carrot Man – Trent & Alex – AUS
Chili Girl – Dai & Jiayuan – China
Banana Boy – Vidar & Albin – Sweden
Watermelon Woman – Oskari & Aura – Finland
David & G are the last to pick and are allocated Captain Corn and create a world where Captain
Corn defends his crops by shooting corn kernels at an evil Butter Man 0 “Captain Corn vs Butter Man”. However, G struggles with the build from the start, as he isn’t fond of superheroes. Brickman stops over as they face issues with their green evil harvester blending too much into the cornfield, prompting them to make a risky last-minute decision to rebuild it in red. Brickman thinks their story is really clear but unfortunately, the time spent on the rebuild of the harvester cost them valuable time, and their lack of polish with the finer details lands them in the bottom two.
Oskari & Aura have yet to receive the Magic Brick and really want it today! They are assigned Watermelon Woman and create a build where she battles a fire monster threatening a city “Watermelon Woman vs Fire Monster”. They make their key elements stand out dynamically and focus on adding intricate details.
After a Top 2 finish in the previous challenge, Trent & Alex are allocated Carrot Man and quickly decide that a rabbit will be the perfect villain. They construct a dramatic scene where Carrot Man invades the rabbit’s lair to retrieve stolen carrots with their build titled “Carrot Man vs Evil Bunny”. Despite Brickman’s last-minute suggestion to adjust the rabbit’s eye line, the team pulls it together with minutes to spare. Their final build impresses Brickman, securing them the final Magic Brick and guaranteeing a spot in the Semi-Finals!
Dai & Jiayuan are allotted Chilli Girl and, since Jia loves spicy food, they create a Sichuan chilli hot pot. In their scene, Chilli Girl defends the hot pot from a naughty mouse driving a rice cooker robot with their challenge called “Chilli Girl vs Naughty Mouse.” Host Hamish challenges them to a fresh chili eating contest, but he can’t handle the heat! Brickman loves their story.
Henry & Cade are assigned Pea in a Pod and create a giant refrigerator as the enemy. In their story, Pea in a Pod battles the refrigerator monster to free her frozen comrades – their build called “Pea in a pod Vs Fridge Mech.” With the Magic Brick already in hand, they are determined to maintain it by delivering a strong build. They stay confident throughout and their mechanism skills and subtle details impress Brickman, earning them a spot in the top two, just shy of the win.
Vidar & Albin are allotted Banana Boy and choose Bad Apple as the villain “Banana Boy vs Bad Apple”. They have trouble defining Banana Boy’s superpower but eventually settle on potassium strength and the ability to summon a wave of bananas. However, they spend too much time on the Bad Apple, leaving Banana Boy underdeveloped. Brickman finds their creativity too unclear and needs to fix it as soon as possible. They make some changes but the team ends up in the bottom two, narrowly avoiding elimination.
The Top 2 today’s teams are Aussie’s, Henry & Cade and Trent & Alex but in the end, Trent & Alex emerge victorious, securing the final Magic Brick and a fast pass to the Semi-Finals! The bottom two teams today even though there were great builds are Team Sweden, Vidar & Albin alongside
Aussie’s David & G who ultimately are eliminated after their risky decisions cost them the challenge.
Davd & G are the fifth team to leave LEGO Masters.
