Just For Laughs Australia returns to Comedy Channel next month

Foxtel’s hugely popular Just For Laughs Australia filmed from the Just For Laughs Sydney Comedy Festival returns this year for a seventh season, with new host, comedian Nick Cody.

A must watch for fans of original Australian comedy, Just For Laughs Australia Season 7 will feature comedy favourites and world-class comedians including Skit BoxCam KnightJudith LucyRhys NicholsonTom BallardTommy LittleDave Thornton and more.

Making his Just For Laugh’s Australia hosting debut, Nick Cody has become a regular fixture on TV and radio in Australia as well as selling out shows internationally. Cody’s global popularity rose when he appeared on Conan O’Brien’s late night talk show and became one of only a handful of Aussies to be invited to perform stand-up on the US television network, Comedy Central. A natural on stage, with constant rave reviews, Cody has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Soho Theatre in London, the invite-only Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, as well as the New York Comedy Festival & Johannesburg Comedy Festival.

The ten-part, half-hour new season was filmed for Foxtel at The Just For Laughs Comedy Festival 2019 at the iconic Sydney Opera House, which featured a range of different acts and world-class comedians appearing throughout the festival.

Just For Laughs Australia Season 7 will stream on Foxtel and screen on The Comedy Channel from Sunday January 5 at 8:30pm AEDT.
