John Eales Joins Ten’s Rugby Team

Legendary Australian player John Eales is the latest addition to TEN’s commentary team for the British & Irish Lions Rugby Tour.

John will join TEN’s Chief Rugby Commentator Gordon Bray, Wallabies great Matt Burke, and ACT Brumbies and former Wallabies Captain Stirling Mortlock for this huge year of Rugby Union on TEN.

With Gordon and Matt calling the tests, Stirling as TEN’s man on the sidelines, and John on the panel, TEN is set to deliver first-rate live coverage of each game.

John said: “I haven’t sensed this much anticipation about a series since the Lions were here in 2001. We have a nicely maturing Wallaby team led by James Horwill who are primed to take on the best of the British and Irish in a great showcase of the game around Australia.”

As the exclusive free-to-air television broadcaster of the Qantas Wallabies Test matches until the end of 2015, TEN will broadcast all games live nationally

 

.TEN’s live rugby coverage of the first Test between the Qantas Wallabies and the British & Irish Lions kicks  this Saturday, June 22, at 7.30pm AEST (Adelaide at 7.00pm and Perth at 5.30pm
