Immunity battle heats up on Masterchef

On tonight’s delectable episode of MasterChef Australia: Fans & Favourites, the contestants got creative with cooking from the food pyramid.

With the best dish from each group to send its maker into tomorrow’s immunity cook, everything was on the line as the contestants raced against the 75 minutes on the clock.

From a cauliflower and parsnip puree and soup, to a chocolate mud cake complete with peanut butter, cream and jam, judges Andy, Jock and Melissa were blown away by the efforts in tonight’s challenge.

Following a monumental cook, victory fell to Chris, Montana, Harry and Julie.

Do not miss tomorrow night when the winning foursome return to the kitchen to battle it out for immunity from the first elimination challenge this Sunday.
