Tonight, you’re invited to a Neighbours wedding, but will it go ahead as planned?
The residents of Ramsay Street are gathering for the long-awaited union of Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards) and Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly), but in true soap fashion, things were never destined to run smoothly. Although, it’s actually pre-wedding drama that threatens to ruin the big day when Hendrix (Benjamin Turland) kisses Chloe, eventually leading him to run away.
When we return to Erinsborough tonight, we find that Hendrix is determined to run off back to Sydney, with Pierce racing against the clock to bring him home before he has to meet Chloe at the altar. After a heart-wrenching chat with his son, Pierce finally makes the decision to become the father he should have been all along and put Hendrix first, but with time running out, what does this mean for the wedding?
Elsewhere, Chloe has a touch of cold feet as her mind wanders back to her actions at Mark and Elly’s wedding earlier in the year. Will Elly be able to help Chloe see reason and ensure she walks down the aisle?
Both the bride and groom are a bit preoccupied in the lead-up to the wedding, and while Chloe makes it to the venue, will the groom arrive in time, or will this be another shemozzled Ramsay Street wedding?
This episode has the perfect balance between drama and character-driven plot and is definitely another great wedding episode for the show. Fingers crossed for a happy ending!
