Happy 8th Birthday Ryno’s TV

What a year 2020 has been – we all certainly spent a LOT of time in front of the box.

2020 saw Neighbours deliver five bumper episodes to celebration its 35th anniversary, and with that some super site figures were achieved. COVID-19 impacted production, but crews managed to adapt. And while it slowed many productions, we still got treated to a fresh Masterchef season with new judges, and Big Brother returned in a fresh format that helped to bring the site some of its biggest figures to date.

On the site-front, not much has really changed this year and I really feel like I’ve found my groove.

Neighbours’ 35th anniversary was covered and this coverage absolutely exceeded expectations and smashed site records. It became the site’s most-read content ever, and don’t worry, there’s a lot more to cover in Erinsborough in 2021.

Amazon released the first Australian Original in The Test in March and there’s a lot more reviews planned as we start to look at new content in the next few weeks.

This journey would be nothing without support. To my incredibly loyal audience, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, commenting and sharing. It truly means a lot. To the publicists, and there are way too many to mention personally, thank you for all your support and assistance when needed.

Thanks must also go to Bianca, Andrew, and Laura for helping get the Twitter-sphere talking. A special thanks to Chris Khoury and Ryan Brink at the  Brink Of Reality Podcast , for being sounding boards, supportive humans, and confidence boosters when needed

And a big thanks must also be extended to Steve Molk and Kevin Perry at TV Blackbox, Nadine at Gossip Communications, Anthony Farrell at The Pop Hub, and Victoria at  Just Me, Victoria,

Courtney, my dear friend, you may have taken a backseat role as life got busy, but your influence and support make you a key part, so thank you for everything.

As the rocky year comes to a close, let’s hope 2021 beings us new and exciting TV.

Ryno.
