Summer lovin’ is about to get a new-age make over when Grease: Live is fast-tracked from the USA next week just a day after airing.
Over the years, Grease has been enjoyed by generation after generation, transformed from 1971 music classic to 1978 feature film. In 2016, with an all-star cast, this special one-hour television adaption promises to become a favourite all over again.
The young cast includes: Julianne Hough (Sandy), Aaron Tveit (Danny Zuko), Vanessa Hudgens (Rizzo), Carlos Penavega (Kenickie), Keke Palmer (Marty), Carly Rae Jepson (Frenchy), David Del Rio (Putzie), Jordan Fisher(Doody), Mario Lopez (Vince Fontaine), Kether Donohue (Jan), Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer (Cha Cha) and Andrew Cal (Sonny).
Grammy Award nominee Jessie J, will perform original Grease favourites in this must-see television special.
Favourite fan moments from the movie will be recreated with reworked versions of timeless songs to update the famous love story for a new generation.
