This weekend Human Nature play tour guides around Las Vegas for Getaway.
After six years of performing Human Nature: The Motown Show on the Las Vegas Strip, acclaimed Australian vocal group Human Nature are considered locals in their adopted state of Nevada.
In a jam-packed, week-long filming schedule, the boys visit some of their favourite destinations in Southern Nevada.
Andrew Tierney takes viewers shopping in Las Vegas and races his brother Mike abseiling down a sheer 50-metre cliff face in the spectacular Valley of Fire. Toby Allen shows off one of his favourite local haunts, Fremont Street, where you can see the original neon signs from the early days of Las Vegas. To finish up, the whole group enjoy cruising on a houseboat on the azure waters of Lake Mead.
Human Nature’s Phil Burton said: “You know Las Vegas is full of glitz and glamour, but if you want to experience something truly spectacular here’s my advice: get out of town!”
The episode goes to air just before the group return to Australia for their national JUKEBOX Tour: A 25 Year Anniversary Celebration, which starts in Melbourne on Thursday, April 23.
This Getaway special episode on Channel Nine on Saturday, April 18, at 5.30pm will be replayed on GEM on Sunday, April 19.
