Foxtel returns Great Australian Bake Off in October

Foxtel’s deliciously successful series, The Great Australian Bake Off, returns for a fourth season next month.

Judged by culinary icon Maggie Beer and acclaimed chef Matt Moran, and hosted by comedians Claire Hooper and Mel Buttle, the mouth-watering 10-part series will follow the most diverse group of bakers yet as they are put through a series of challenges in the iconic Bake Off Shed to find Australia’s Best Amateur Baker.

The bakers vying for this season’s title are: Angela (36), a housewife from Adelaide; Annette (48) an account manager from the Gold Coast; Anston (28) a student voice officer from Sydney; Dan (35) a research scientist from Brisbane; David (41) a project manager from Melbourne; Dennis (71) a retired maths teacher from Melbourne; Don (55) a superannuation consultant from Sydney; Laura (22) a café manager from regional NSW; Sonny (26) a PHD science student from Sydney; Sue (70) a retired bank manager from Sydney; Wynn (36) a disability services manager from Sydney; and Zee (39) a marriage celebrant from Melbourne.
