Last night in The Hotplate Grand Final, Emi and Marie from Bird’s Nest in Brisbane were crowned the winners of The Hotplate 2015
Six restaurant heroes from around the country battled to win a $100,000 prize with Bird’s Nest and Rocksalt (Aron and Vanessa) battling it out in the final.
The Judges: acclaimed Chef Scott Pickett and restaurant critic Tom Parker Bowles with special guestGuillaume Brahimi awarded the Brisbane girls 26 points out of 30, two points ahead of the young newlyweds from NSW.
A second season of The Hotplate is yet to be decided upon.
