Doctor Doctor kicked off its fifth season with a humdinger of a cliffhanger.
Where do I even begin! After Meryl (Tina Bursill) was arrested and charged with the misappropriation of Council Funds, she is desperate to hide all evidence of her corrupt past, insisting that a reluctant Hayley (Chloe Bayliss) help her interrogate Rod Eagle (Patrick Wilson), in search of an incriminating contract that’s gone missing. Will Meryl find a way to get out?
Bitter and hurt by Penny’s (Hayley McElhinney) defection to Stanwell, Hugh (Rodger Corser) is working around the clock to get the clinic back to operation. Meanwhile, Penny is also looking to rebuild her life, her battered ego, and her mojo on a journey of self-discovery, insisting that she will never go back to Whyhope.
The big episode also sees the arrival of Tom (Lincoln Younes), and it’s safe to say that Whyhope won’t know what has hit them when this charming new character arrives.
This is certainly not an episode fans can afford to miss.
