Today, Neighbours kicks off its 40th anniversary week with a much-anticipated wedding.
When the episode begins, it’s Krista (Marjella Davis) and Leo’s (Tim Kano) big day. But after reaching a crossroads last week when Krista gave into temptation and slept with Seb (Rarmian Newton), after her sister Fallon (Kate Connick) lied and told Krista that her a Leo slept together, is this wedding even going to go ahead?
While Fallon confesses the truth that she’s been trying to pull Krista and Leo apart, and along with her history with Seb, Leo fears that Krista will be a no-show at their wedding. Paul (Stefan Dennis) counsels Krista, but will he be able to get her down the aisle and saying ‘I do’?
Elsewhere, Nell’s (Ayisha Salem-Towner) artwork exhibition, ‘The Story of Erinsborough,’ takes over the Lassiters’ Complex. Everyone congratulates Nell over breakfast. Later, JJ (Riley Bryant) encounters Agnes Adair looking at the artwork of Madge Bishop (Anne Charleston), whom she bears an uncanny resemblance to. Who is this mystery woman?
Jason Herbison lays the groundwork for a milestone week and kicks-off Harold’s (Ian Smith) final arc, with Marcella giving a memorable performance as Krista struggles with her indiscretion and the impact it could cause.
Neighbours airs Monday-Thursday at 4:00pm on 10, with episodes repeated at 6:30pm on 10Peach Comedy.
