Channel Ten has hired Dafydd Williams as a new Head of Development.
Williams has previously worked for the network from 2006 to early 2012, initially as Network Executive Producer and then Head of Factual Programming. A role which saw him create some of the networks biggest success like The Biggest Loser Australia, MasterChef Australia, Bondi Rescue, Bondi Vet, Recruits and The Living Room.
On returning to Ten “I’m delighted to be returning to Network Ten and it will be a pleasure to be reunited with the talented team of friends and colleagues.” He said
Chief Programming Officer Beverly McGarvey said that “Dafydd is one of the best-connected and most experienced producers in the Australian television industry. His appointment is part of the strategy to build our management talent across all departments of Network Ten.
“We are very excited to be welcoming Dafydd back to Ten. The development of new shows is, of course, a key area for us and Dafydd’s skills and experience will be a great addition to our local programming and production team.”
Dafydd Williams will start with the network at the end of the month.
