Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer Project Special

To coincide with the launch of Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer 2018, The Project will present a very special night of comedy, music, challenges, stunts and surprises, this Tuesday

Straight from the Coachella music festival, Portugal. The Man, will perform their top 10 global hit, Feel It Still. With a little help from Peter Helliar, Steve Price will deliver a hilarious stand-up routine and Tommy Little will perform a surprising stunt. Plus a special performance from Australian singing sensation Katie Noonan, The Living Room’s Amanda Keller joins the panel and Dave Hughes returns to co-host.

Brain cancer kills more people under the age of 40 than any other cancer and more children in this country than any other disease. Approximately 1,600 Australians are diagnosed each year and of them, it is estimated 1,300 will die from the disease. Currently there is no cure. Survival rates have not changed in 30 years and brain cancer research has been severely underfunded for decades.

Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer campaign has raised $4.5 million for vital brain cancer research since 2015 via the sale of her beanies at www.CarriesBeanies4BrainCancer.com

he 2018 campaign is aiming big, with a goal to raise a further $5 million for vital brain cancer research. This year the Australian Government is committed to matching the fundraising dollar for dollar up to $5 million.

Join Carrie and the rest of The Project team at 6.30pm on Tuesday 1 May and help raise money and awareness for this very worthy cause.
