On Monday Guests Rebel Wilson Colin Hay and Arj Barker open a new Can of Worms.
Do you know that illicit drugs are now the third biggest industry in the world and only 10% of all drug users are classed as problematic? With Australia and New Zealand leading the world in illicit drug use, should party drugs be legalised and treated as a health issue instead of a criminal offence?
Join host Chrissie Swan and celebrity guests Rebel Wilson, Colin Hay and Arj Barker as we delve into this sensitive topic and many more, on Monday’s episode of Can of Worms.
MONDAY’S GUESTS
REBEL WILSON
Born to a pair of professional dog-handlers, the 26-year-old Sydneysider has gone from strength to strength since her role alongside Matt Lucas in the 2011 smash hit comedy Bridesmaids. Since then she has wowed audiences in Pitch Perfect, starred alongside Kirsten Dunst in Bachelorette, Mark Wahlberg in Pain and Gain and developed a television pilot with the one and only Conan O’Brien.
COLIN HAY
Another great Aussie export (even though he was technically born in Scotland), Hay is best known for fronting the iconic band Men at Work in the 1980s. Enjoying a solid solo career ever since, Hay has made multiple appearances on television shows, including Scrubs, JAG and Blue Heelers.
ARJ BARKER
Californian born and Byron Bay based, Arj Barker is as seasoned as they come appearing at almost every Melbourne International Comedy Festival since 2000, with the odd appearance on the David Letterman and Conan O’Brien shows. Barker will be sure to weigh in on our party drug “worm”, having admitted to smoking “a lot of pot” during his teens.
CAN OF WORMS
LIVE Monday at 8.30pm on TEN.
