Rock music royalty Ella Hooper has been unveiled as the ninth superstar performer on The Masked Singer Australia.
Hidden under a gigantic baby costume, five time ARIA winner and frontwoman of iconic Australian band Killing Heidi, proved her cradle does rock.
Despite getting emotions flowing with her rendition of The Backstreet Boys hit As Long As You Love Me, Baby was no match for Dolly’s take on Supaloney by Benee featuring Gus Dapperton.
Guessing panel Dave Hughes, Jackie O and Urzila Carlson were not able to detect Ella as Baby and instead nominated singer Tones and I, reality star Ali Oetjen and actress Ruby Rose as their pics behind the mask.
Unable to ignore the frequent hoop references within Baby’s clue packages, Dannii was ecstatic to learn she successfully picked Ella.
When asked why she wanted join The Masked Singer Australia, Ella said: “Every year or two, I make sure I do something totally out of my wheelhouse, and this is pretty out there!”
With performances to analyse and fresh clues up on the board, are you any closer to guessing who’s behind Kebab, Dolly, Mullet and Vampire?
