In a Neighbours first, tonight’s episode features just three characters, as Brad, Lauren and Terese’s love triangle of two-and-a-half years will finally reach its crescendo moment.
Written by Series Producer Jason Herbison, this two-and-a half year love triangle will come to a head in spectacular fashion as Brad, Lauren and Terese deal with the fallout of Brad’s infidelity.
The episode takes place on both sides of Ramsay Street as Brad (Kip Gamblin) rushes home to tell wife Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) that he had finally given into his feelings for Lauren (Kate Kendall). However, Terese’s own news stops him before the truth is revealed, but rest assured, the truth doesn’t stay secret for too long! The Brad-Terese-Lauren dynamic will drastically change and marriage and friendship will take a serious blow.
Spending the whole episode on the fallout from last night’s indiscretions was a wise choice as it allows the audience to finally be rewarded with some incredible scenes that won’t be forgotten anytime soon. If you thought the last two-and-a-half years of love triangle building was good, you will definitely be blown away by what’s to come.
Jason Herbison’s writing allowed each actor to showcase their talent through a rollercoaster of emotions as secrets are exposed and friendships are left in tatters. This year has already shown us some great storylines and episodes, and this would have to be one of the best Neighbours episodes to date. The cast deliver a spectacular episode that no Neighbours fan would want to miss.
